Okay, it seems as if when Maskiri came back into the the Hip Hop scene he's been banging hits after hits. Recently he has released a new track called Africa which he did with the beautiful Keisha White.
What's so unique bout this track is that Maskiri worked with a regional artist, a huge step especially in the Hip Hop industry which is under a lotta criticism for not being original and is not vibrant as Dancehall is. What I like bout this song is that Maskiri was being himself, he didn't do it to please anybody, the reason why the track is dope.

Maskiri who is known for a creative wordplay came in with some tight Shona bars amid collaborating with someone who's not Zimbabwean. Also, Maskiri surprised us when he came in with some Swahili bars which left many Hip Hop fans asking for more. Maskiri begins his first verse like, "Ndini ndatanga kudyisa Keisha White madora..."

As for me, I give Maskiri an 8 out of 10 on this track. What's your take? How do you rate this track?

Is Reason trying to pull a publicity stunt?
Is it creativity or demolition of other people's faith?
Yesterday Reason shocked the South African nation and Africa at large after he announced the launch of his upcoming single track called 'Reazus Christ is coming'. Reason has been criticized by many people including religious institutions as well as the media. Some say he has demolished other people's faith in Christianity by pulling such a stunt.
Other commentators have suggested that his move is similar to that of the American rappers Jay Z & Kanye West who call themselves Jayhova & Yeezus Christ respectively and it is a marketing strategy. Other Christian commentators purported that his move is unholy and might be linked to the illuminati secret society which is anti-christ. Lol I think Reason akuti jairira, no one has pulled such a stunt in Africa, maybe arikuda kuita a legend in African rap but still with this stunt here amana. The artwork of his latest single track which is due to be released on Friday has an image of Jesus wearing dark shades and holding two naked girls on his shoulders. Like seriously guys, what kind of stupidity is this?
When called for a comment on the ANN7 News Channel, Reason said that his intention was not to hurt anyone or any organization. He also said that he expected some people to freak out about the issue. Reason has now changed his instagram name to Reazus and it seems as if he is not regretting any of this.
This is what he said on his instagram account (@reasonhd_)
"In an age were many powerful structures and bodies of control choose and dictated to the world what the truth was, the 'new generations' constant urge to question their perspectives has always been a result of the discovering new ones.
Moving into the future one often finds themselves in conflict with their present self based on previous notions we had ourselves that were based in the future which is now the present.
Growing up as a kid, I was given the tools and weapons to protect myself from the evils of this world. I've since gone through a roller coaster of experiences that have tainted that innocent and angelic image they were trying to protect, and it has left me with new truths
At 1pm on Friday the 24th, I will present to you a few new truths.
Not YOUR truth. Not THE truth. But A truth
MY truth
Spread the word."
So is Reazus Christ the new thruth? Who knows? Let's just wait and see was Reason has planned for his fans.
