As far as making good love music that resonates with people’s lives, it appears controversial dancehall singer, Qounfuzed, has made his mark and is continuing to set the pace, if his brand new song, Wakandigona, is anything to go by.

The song features one of the most talented lyricists in Zimbabwe, Noble Stylz and was produced by Casper Beats.
The slow tempo jam speaks of a lover who goes down memory lane reminiscing everything that happened in his love life and explains how he misses his lover every time he thinks about her.
Noble Stylz comes in with two verses characterised by witty wordplay and metaphors that makes the song more exciting to listen to.

The song is expected to top radio charts like what their previous song (Kusvika Rinyure) did last year, spending more than three months on radio charts across all radio stations.
The duo has promised their fans a music video for the song soon.
“We are looking forward to release the music video for Wakandigona as soon as possible and we certainly hope it is going to do well on the international TV channels like what other Zimbabwean music videos are doing,” said Qounfuzed.
The new track is available on all music digital platforms like iTunesTidal and SoundCloud.

Amasixteen is Thabbz second single this year after a more chilled, composed and sexual - Sanctuary he released on Valentine’s Day.

The two artistes (Thabbz and Guluva Se7en) show their lyrical prowess on the hard hitting track which was produced by Harare based Kronik boi.

Amasixteen is all about the familiar 16 rap bars which the two Kasi/ghetto bred artistes execute.

The chorus goes like …‘Ngoba thina phela s’dume ngama 16, s’dume ngama 16/ Nxa hayi hayi hayi vele kuyafiwa” which simply translate to ‘We are well known for delivering 16 rap bars and on this track we killing it”.

This is the first collaboration by the two artistes who were nominated for best new comer at the Zim Hip Hop awards 2015.

Following the launch of Sauce Boys, a clothing line owned by a University of Zimbabwe student Kingstone Zimunya, Yung Nate and P Nash have come up with a new track endorsing the clothing line.

The track is simply titled Sauce Boys and was produced by Vic Enlisted and the China based Pro Sounds Mangoma, hence the EDM feel to the track.

The duo highlight their lyrical prowess with hard hitting 24 bars each.

Yung Nate went in first with an all English verse that is appealing to the typical hip hop lover while P Nash mixes vernacular and English to give a striking a balance to the track.

Yung Nate is currently working on his mixtape, Epiphanies of Nirvana which is set to be released in August this year. This is to be his first to date and it is to be recorded at Enlisted International Studios where he is currently signed.

Award winning choreographer and dancer John Cole and upcoming artist Paul Martin's work relationship is in limbo, after the latter allegedly breached an agreement that barred him from using video clips with the former’s dance routines to create a full-length music video.

John Cole
In an interview with The ZimTainment, Cole said that they had only agreed to do short clips, but was surprised when Martin decided to do a full-length video, which he had not paid for, behind the choreographer’s back.

“Since he is an upcoming artist, we had agreed to do a ‘three-minute snippet’ video, but suddenly he started talking of a full length video, which we had not agreed on and he had not paid for,” he said.

Cole said Martin was refusing to take down the footage, which he posted on YouTube, after he had requested him to do so.

Paul Martin
“Martin is refusing to take down the video and I feel he is making use of my intellectual property. He is going to make money out of this video and I am not going to get anything from it,” he said.

Although Martin had offered to pay more for the video, Cole said the issue was now beyond repair because Martin had insulted him.

“I do not want his money anymore, not after he insulted me,” he said, adding that the upstart was now trying to turn his dancers against him.

Martin, however, denied the claims saying he had agreed to take down the footage although he never used any of Cole’s dances.

He accused Cole of trying to damage his reputation over an undisclosed vendetta.

“He asked me to remove the footage that had his dancers on it and I did. I think he is trying to tarnish my image because of a grudge he has with me from the past, but which I am not even aware of,” Martin said.

Cole accused artists of taking dancers for granted because they felt they did not add value to their music.

“I have been choreographing for a number of artists. This is not my first time coming across such people and I realise that these artistes don’t take dancers seriously. They think they are more important than us,” he said.

So Friday the 17th of March might be one of the days to remember in the Zim Hip Hop fraternity and do you know why? Well let me break it down below and I'm obviously going to call a spade a spade.

So just like any other Fridays, I woke up and was craving to listen to an exclusive interview on Capital 26Free's Keep It Real Fridays because they were hosting the saucy Kikky Badass and her partner in crime Marcus Mafia

Well it was all good until Marcus started talking about why he pulled out of the #TehnOuttaTehnTour.

First of all he started by calling Tehn a d*ck, and yes, he called him a dick. Below are verbatim excerpts from their interview on Keep It Real Fridays.

Tehn is his boys were booed and manhandled off stage in Mutare except for Ammara.

Tehn Diamond pulled plugs and cut off Hubby when he was performing Mai vadhikondo.

Tehn bought Nando's for the people he had in his car and bought 'rolls' for every other guys.

No one knew Tehn Diamond when we went to Africa University and by that time I felt sorry for him.

Coco Master and his boys bankrolled the Mutare tour, bought food for everyone, put in fuel, Tehn went on radio and never credited anyone.

To cut the long story short please listen to their interview below and hear how mad Marcus is with how Tehn mistreated people in Mutare.

Talking about consistency in Zim Hip Hop, young Scrip Mula has become a force to reckon with after dropping his latest video titled Maria Musande.

Scrip Mula
Ever since the young king dropped the video for Christopher Columbus, he has managed to keep his mojo and stayed relevant to the game.

With Maria Musande out now, there are some speculations in the streets that the kid is arguably the king of trap in Zim Hip Hop, and there is probably no one to argue that.

Maria Musande has already become an anthem and it's already on the charts on some local radio stations.

If you haven't watched the video for Maria Musande yet, you are missing out on some of the doppest visuals to be dropped in 2017.

Watch the video below and tell us what you think. Don't forget to share with your peers.

DO YOU AGREE THAT SCRIP MULA IS THE KING OF TRAP MUSIC IN ZIMBABWE?

United Kingdom-based sungura group, Kambo Boys, have released a catchy music video titled Sweet Larissa to mark their entry into the music circuit ahead of the release of their debut album later this month.

The outfit is made up of Tony Nembaware, Simba Mapfudze and Nigel Fungai.

Nembaware told The ZimTainment that the band name, Kambo, was derived from Swahili, meaning “song” to reflect the African feel of their music.

The forthcoming album was recorded and produced by legendary instrumentalist and producer, Clive Mono Mukundu although some of the recording was done at Hator Bros Entertainment Studios Ray B Studios and Kambo Studios.

The music trio is inspired by legends like Oliver Mtukudzi, Aleck Macheso, Khiama Boys as well as Sulumani Chimbetu and Jah Prayzah.

“Like social commentators, we write about what happens in day to day lives of people, drawing inspiration from such experiences our music covers themes from love, motivation, corruption and even diaspora life,” Nembaware said.

The group has previously been nominated for two Zimbabwe Music and Arts awards for their ground breaking single, Melo, which was nominated for best video while the group was nominated for Best Male group. Melo video also ranked number two on the Dstv channel, Zambezi Magic and it was also played on Trace Africa.

“We are still trying to perfect our act before any live performances but have done much for our video and audio productions,” Nembaware said.

“We will be announcing tour dates and concert dates in the next few months but currently we are working on our debut album which will be released later this year.”

UK: Saturday night was a big day for Birmingham-based Zimbabwe-born designer Hilton Mutariswa.
Mayweather and Mutariswa
“Last night was so beautiful; so rewarding, so magnificent so, empowering. I look forward building from it,” Mutariswa said afterwards.
Mega star and retired undefeated boxer, Floyd Mayweather, was in town.
“I was the only one chosen to gift him anything,” Mutariswa told NewZimbabwe.com on Monday.
He has just launched his own brand of high end shoes Billione Rikko and decided to present the US-based A-lister with two pairs of custom ostrich skin sneakers.
One pair of white trainers featured a 24-carat gold plated logo and were embellished with thousands of tiny Swarovski crystals, while an artist hand-painted the boxer’s signature on the other.

“On the black pair, I collaborated with a painter based in London whose works are sold at the likes of Harrods.
“For the white sneakers featuring crystals, I worked with a Birmingham based jeweller. The two pairs are a one-off, made specially for Mayweather,” said Mutariswa.

The shoe range will normally retail between £500 and £750 but Floyd’s style won’t be on sale.
And judging by the grin on his face as he received the gift, Mayweather was impressed.

Top Zimbabwean supermodel and rapper, Moe Makaya, who is based in the United Kingdom, was on Saturday rubbing shoulders with one of the most popular and richest sportspersons in the world, Floyd Mayweather, at a charity event in Birmingham.

Moe Makaya and Floyd Mayweather
The event, which took place in Birmingham at the ICC, was called The Floyd Mayweather Las Vegas Charity Ball and was hosted by Makaya’s modelling agency, Merrimaid.

In an interview with The ZimTainment, Makaya said she was overwhelmed to be in the presence of Mayweather, who pulled a long shadow over the world of sport.

“I had the pleasure of meeting him and he is an amazing person. He was very humble, motivating and polite. He also answered a lot of questions from the audience regarding his life career, which is equally inspiring,” she said.

The event was organised by a company called Fighter UK to raise money for charity, but guests were able to meet Mayweather.

“My team and I networked with many corporate people and millionaires, but also took care of Floyd and his team and helped with the auctioning on stage, raising a lot of money,” she said.

Remember those guys who always look sideways when you ask them for money to buy dash or ice blocks when you are having a drink up? And all they do is just drink and tell you rowdy stories until they are drunk.

Well hell has broke loose for them as T1 and Mile have dropped a brand new jam castigating every ish that these freeloaders do.

Apparently the track which is titled MaPoacher is T1's second single for 2017 and it was produced by Mclyne Beats working hand in glove with Vic Enlisted.

This is a dope jam and a must have on your playlist as both artists put in their all in making sure they drop a bomb.

As we wait for T1's album let us vibe to his latest song.

By the way, if these 'MaPoacher' ask you for the song, just give them no worries lol.

El Deeper, a rapper from the award winning group Yedu Entertainment has just dropped his first single for 2017 titled Red Mercury.

The song features 5 Point and was produced GNiK.

In the song, 5 Point delivers a dope mellow chorus which spiced up the new new joint which was complimented by El's verse.

The song is all about thanking the gods for taking care and fighting all the enemies who try to pull them down.

Kudos to El Deeper for the joint, we'd really wanted to rate it but we are going to leave it up you to do the honours.

Stream and download the song and tell us what you think about it. Don't forget to share..

After producing the music video for ExQ's 'Bhachura' (which was rumoured that he got $100) Vusa Blaqs became the most sought after guy with different artists from different genres lined up for his services.

Vusa Blaqs (Pic: Facebook)
After only a short stint which saw Vusa producing two fire videos (ExQ's Bhachura and Ammara's Watchu want) Vusa took to his Facebook page to announce that he was no longer shooting music videos.

Today I'm on my last shoot. No more music videos. My heart is heavy but it has to be done. Thanks to all the stars that gave me a chance to work with. It's been a truly electrifying experience. God bless you all, he said.

There were mixed reactions among his supporters as some were touched by the news and others tried to comfort him so that he can keep doing what he does best.

Blaqs who is sometimes accused of not meeting deadlines is currently sitting on a number of unreleased projects which include those of Takura, Tehn Diamond, Fungisai, Killer T, Tammy and ExQ.

From the looks of it, it seems as if Blaqs is not benefiting much from his work besides the fame which he acquired.

We hope this is not the end of it all and Blaqs will be back again with some more wonderful works.

After dropping dope visuals for 'Boy Dab' - UK based rap queen Mami Dred is back with another hot  video for her track titled 'Dough'.

The colourful and artistic video was shot by BnG TV and fastly becoming people’s favourite as seen the thumbs up it is getting on digital media platforms such as YouTube.

Mami Dred on set
We are not going to dwell much on the video and we are going to let you watch, enjoy, judge and share with your friends.

Nutty O (forefront)
If you are a Zim Dancehall fan then you must know who we are talking about.

Just after joining Military Touch Movement, Nutty O has drooped his maiden video under the record label.

The video is titled Bugatti and for your own info it's not about Bugatti the car.

Nutty O who mainly sings in patois talks about how he was sidelined by many Dancehall personalities because he does not sing in Shona.

Zvakatanga pa new year vachiti mfana we patois haalume (it started on new year when they said the patois kid will not win)

He also thanks Jah Prayzah for noticing pure talent and promised to take Zim Dancehall to international market.

Dj Tamuka and ExQ can be noticed in the video which shows a real ghetto scenery which many will relate to. Also, S/O to Blaqs for the visuals.

We are not going to dwell much on the video and let you be the judges. Watch Nutty O's Bugatti video below.

The ever talkative Mwana waPharoah a.k.a R Peels has blessed us with visuals for his freestyle titled Really Wishing.

Like always, Peels will be throwing jabs on this joint as he challenges his peers to try him in whatever way they want.

Part of the chorus goes like, "I really wish you could try me/ Ndini ndega ndine strategy..." as he claim to walk his talk on his brand new joint.

The video was shot by The Donut Shop.

We are going to let his music do the talking now. Please rate it and share with your friends on social media.

Watch the music video below.

UK based Afro-pop singer, Charlie Kay whose government name is Tapfuma Charles Katedza has released his second official single track titled ‘Ndokuda Wakadaro’ and it features Urban Grooves singer, Nox.

Charlie Kay told The ZimTainment that he first came in the limelight in June 2016 with his debut single titled ‘Vimbai’ which enjoyed notable radio and TV airplay with support across key territories in Southern Africa.

Vimbai" managed over 250.000 streams collectively on social media outlets and enjoyed mainstream radio airplay on Zimbabwe’s national stations such as ZiFM Stereo and Star FM and was backed by rave reviews from Trace Africa, MTV Base, The ZimTainment and Channel O,” he said.

Vimbai announced the arrival of Charlie Kay in a big way and he earned a clutch of nominations at this year’s Zimaa UK awards in some notable categories including best music video, best male artist and best producer.

“Ndokuda Wakadaro" is a follow up to Vimbai and is an infectious slice of Afro-pop that many of my fans have predicted to be the wedding anthem of 2017,” he added.

Charlie Kay joined forces with Tatenda Jamera to produce a stunning visual accompaniment to a promising hit record. Shot in Cape Town, the video treatment is a wonderful love story featuring some simply breath-taking scenery.

This promises to be one to watch and the incredible Charlie Kay looks set to dominate and set standards in 2017.

Multi-award winning rapper Brythreesixty has released his much anticipated single titled Mail

The rapper is not a stranger to street anthems and is known for street anthems like Konzeresa, Shay Baii, Highscore and Maswera Sei.

Mail is a typical hip hop track which talks about working hard and getting money all the time.

The track is also a celebration to the award he got in Nigeria for Best Collaboration for the track Shay Baii and Best hip hop Group which was won at Changamire Hip Hop Awards.

2017 seems to be looking bright for Brighton.

We will let the music do the talking, download the song on the link above.

Well it seems as if Stunner's track which Olinda last spoke about on her Facebook Live video is one hell of a hit and I tell you, it's a must have on your playlist.

After all had happened, Stunner teamed up with Dancehall chanter Guspy Warrior to come up with a track titled 'Ndoenda' in which he deciphers what he thinks his ex-lover should have done.

Stunner went in with his heart and expressed how he felt about his previous relationship.

He admits he was wrong but castigated his ex-lover on the actions she took over their issues.

Instead, Stunner suggested that she should have at least asked what he had done and come up with solutions than to go public with the issue.

"Ndoenda, unondikwidza blood pressure every time ndiri around you (I'm going, you raise my blood pressure every time I'm around you)" is one of the lines in the new track which the rapper has dropped.

Guspy Warrior showed his genius side like always by giving a dope touching chorus with his sonorous voice.

PS: One can get emotionally attached to this song if played excessively.

Stunner is one of the best entertainers of his time and he has been releasing good music, among the songs some hits which were sing along. This song is probably a hit.

Multi-award winning rapper DesmondStunnerChideme is nursing wounds after unidentified people assaulted him outside The Volt night club last night.

A picture of a wounded Stunner surfaced on social media fuelling speculations that he had been beaten by people sent by his ex-wife Olinda Chapel with whom he is at loggerheads.

It was after Stunner had performed at The Volt at Ngoni Kambarami's album launch, however, professed ignorance of his attackers’ identity.

What Stunner could only say was that, "I don't know who they are."

Many people are assuming that it was Olinda who sent people to beat up Stunner as she had mentioned something related to that on her Facebook Live video.

Stunner (left) and his producer T Man
“Desmond Chideme you will ask for forgiveness today. I am going to show you the power of money,” she fumed.

In her Facebook video, Olinda appeared to be instructing a man (whom he called her brother, Ian) on the phone to go and do whatever he could to Stunner, as well as collect all property belonging to her from their Greendale residency.

“Do not kill him, but do whatever you want because he is evil,” she instructed the man on the other side of the line.

Although it could not be established if those are the assailants that attacked Stunner, the caller on the other hand appeared to be insinuating the use of “State agents” to deal with Stunner.

Meanwhile, the UK-based mother of two has sensationally alleged that Stunner impregnated his teenage girlfriend Dyonne Tafirenyika and influenced her to abort.

She made the revelations in her series of fresh videos on Friday.

“Desmond, you are evil, getting another girl pregnant while you are married, then you make her abort,” she claimed.

“Making someone abort, is it even legal to have an abortion in Zimbabwe?” Olinda questioned.

Olinda has since deleted her Facebook video which she was instructing 'her brother' to do whatever he wants with Stunner.

You know when you have a lot of people hating on your grind and progress all you have to do is act as if you don't give a F and all their hatred will be irrelevant.

Talking about hatred, Chronnic, Jay Tee and the queen Mandy have dropped a jam dedicated to those who waste their energy on hating people.

The track is titled Keya Keya and is taken from the old school childhood sing along chorus 'Keya Keya don't keya' (don't care).

Mandy whose sweet voice can make anyone stop what they are doing was on the chorus and the two guys Chronnic and Jay Tee dropped fair verses which relate to the track and can make you nod from the onset until the track finishes.

Teenash and Drebash did their best on the production side to make sure they come up with something you can enjoy.

The track is fairly good and I think it's one of those which you need to have on your playlist those days when you feel like you don't give a F.

Stream and download Keya Keya on the link below. S/O to Chronnic, Jay Tee and Mandy for dropping a good sing along song.

After we thought everything is now done and dusted between Olinda and Stunner, the former made a comeback to Facebook Live when she realised Stunner's girlfriend, Deon aborted her pregnant which belonged to Stunner.

Olinda who looked so bitter in the video also learnt that the two were meeting and sleeping in her own bed.

This all came after Olinda got hold of Deon's WhatsApp chats on a phone which she had been given by Stunner.

People who were watching the live video managed to witness a couple of guys who called on the phone as they wanted to talk to Deon.

Olinda later ordered her brother to go to Stunner's house which she was paying rent for to take everything which she bought, from cars, phones, clothes and even teaspoons lol.

20:18

Stunner calls Olinda shouting at her and telling her that no one is pregnant and that she is disrespectful.

Coming from hibernation, boy band Antivirus crew are back with a banger and this time it features the award winning Luveve boy Cal Vin.

The video is titled so fly and from the way we see it, it's LIT AF.

It's all lights, camera, action as the boys decide to meet at a photoshoot with some beautiful girls but before they do that they hit the shops for some liquor.

The highly stylised video shows them shirtless Antivirus kids showing off their tattoos, funky hairstyles and of course the swag.

For a moment people were starting to ask questions whether the boys can still flex but like always, one of the major highlights of the video are the well choreographed dance routines which they pulled off.

Cal Vin who meet the boys at the shops dropped a fire verse like always and one will obviously see why he is one of the most sought after rappers in Zimbabwe right now.

So fly video is fly just like it's name, just expect beautiful people, well choreographed dance routines and obviously the swag. Get into the video below.
